These three tall Aspens were decked out in their Autumn colors, but their interesting trunks really caught my attention.

Out my second floor window, overlooking my own backyard.
While resting and taking in some fresh, cool, mountain air, this struck me as the most refreshing scene I had seen all day.
I can remember seeing this mountainside as a very small child while going camping. Use your imagination and weave a story you can pass down to your kids and grandkids, just like my Dad did.
When I saw this Awsome mountain, covered in aspen, shaded from top to bottom in pink/orange down to pastel yellow, it makes me happy to live in such a beautiful state.
If a drive like this doesn't make you want to put on a sweater and go for a sunday ride, well, you should maybe try Florida! LOL!

We took a drive from Palisades Colorado up the Grand Mesa Pass.
This trail is also known locally as 7 bridges, and this is my favorite hiking trail. The picture was taken 9/25/2012 around 8:45 am.
This was one of my Favorites!!! As we were getting rained and hailed on the snow as we seen latter was working its way in...
I was working on another shot, and my husben was talling me come here babe hurry... I came around the bush and there he was just watching us...
My Husben picked this one up and yes I thought it was cool as well the way it had all Three colors on it....
