Joe Dominguez has been in Colorado since 2002.
He was hired as the Pueblo Bureau Chief and covered several memorable stories including the push by city council to make Pueblo a non-smoking city.
In 2004, he was promoted to weekend anchor and asked to move to Colorado Springs. He found himself back in Pueblo for extensive coverage of the Branch Inn explosion and was part of the award-winning coverage of the New Life Church shootings. Joe returned to the Pueblo news beat full time in January, 2014.
Joe is also a part of the KRDO Newschannel 13 Sports Department every Friday night through the fall. He's covered high school football teams from Rocky Ford to Monument.
Joe got his start in Midland, Texas as a general assignments reporter at KWES-TV.
He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism - Broadcast News Concentration.
In his spare time, Joe enjoys finding delicious places to eat in Colorado Springs, Pueblo and elsewhere. He also takes full advantage of one of Colorado's growing industries - craft beer brewing. You can also find him picking up a good book or movie at the nearest library.
