Did Demi Moore get special treatment?

That's what some people are asking after portions of the recent 911 call from her house were redacted before the tape was released.

Not so, said the Los Angeles District Attorney's Office. It said it recommends to the Los Angeles Fire Department, which releases 911 calls, that such tapes not include private medical information because making those kinds of details public would violate federal law.

On Jan. 23, a woman called 911 soliciting help for Moore, whom she said was "convulsing" and "burning up" after "smoking something," according to a recording of the call obtained Friday from the Fire Department.

Moore was rushed to a Southern California hospital after the call.

A representative for Moore said after the incident that the actress -- who recently separated from her husband, Ashton Kutcher -- has been dealing with stress.
