This alarm clock phone app wakes up users up with the sound and smell of sizzling bacon. The only catch? The smell is made available via a separate device that plugs into iPhones and shoots out the scent. The London Cocktail Club in England has offered this "Bacon and Egg Martini" cocktail, with bacon-infused Jack Daniels, maple syrup, lemon juice, and Angostura and orange bitters. It is topped with a rasher of candied bacon.
Hormel, the Minnesota-based maker of Farmer John meat products and Spam, has built a diesel motorcycle that can run on biofuel made out of converted bacon grease. The biofuel costs around $3.50 per gallon and makes the exhaust smell like bacon.
