Hundreds of thousands of bottles of Infant Motrin are being recalled because they may contain tiny plastic particles.

The recalled medicine includes lot numbers DCB3T01, DDB4R01, and DDB4S01. The UPC code on the recalled medication is 300450524157 and the case UPC code is 30300450524158.

The company that makes Motrin, McNEIL-PPC, inc., says that the particles originated in a shipment from a third party supplier of Ibuprofen, which is the active ingredient in the recalled medicine. The company says it is working with the supplier to make sure something like this doesn't happen again.

If you have any of the recalled Infant Motrin you are urged to stop using it and throw it away. You can call1-877-414-7709 to request a refund or coupon.
