COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

Police say a two year old boy fell from a third story window at a Colorado Springs apartment complex Tuesday (4/29/14).

He wasn't seriously hurt.

The fall happened at the Hill Park Apartments in the 300 block of N. Murray Blvd. just before 2 p.m.

Police say the window was open and the child's mother was home at the time. They say she tried to reach him before he fell, but it was too late.

The two year old was conscious and breathing when rescuers arrived at the apartment complex. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and released.

The incident is now under investigation.
