80 thousand in donations doled out to help first responders.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo -

The buck definitely doesn't stop here in Southern Colorado.  It's multiplied to 80 thousand dollars in two checks for two organizations.  Larry H Miller Toyota dealerships in Colorado Springs and Kuni Lexus raised the money for the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Red Cross and for Care and Share of Southern Colorado.

Each organization received forty thousand dollars.  Todd Hillboe and other representatives handed out the big checks and explained why it was necessary for their employees to do this, "We would like to give back to the community and this was a great opportunity for us.

Thomas Gonzalez with the Pikes Peak Chapter of the Red Cross said this after his organizations check presentation, "We are very humbled and very thankful for the support we are receiving.  Thank you so much for your contribution."  Care and Share was just as appreciative for the money.

The auto dealers saw the need to resupply these organizations after all the work they've done to help people following the Black Forest, Royal Gorge and the rest of this Summer's wildfires.
