COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

A car crash at the intersection of Centennial Boulevard and Vindicator Drive sent one woman to the hospital on Monday afternoon.

Police told our KRDO NewsChannel 13 crew at the scene that an elderly woman driving a Toyota car tried to make a left turn onto Vindicator from Centennial.  The driver of a Mitsubishi Eclipse was going north on Centennial through a green light at the intersection.  Police said the elderly woman pulled out in front of the Eclipse and the driver of the Eclipse hit her vehicle.

The elderly woman was taken to the hospital and police said she was in unstable condition.  The driver of the Eclipse did not suffer any injuries.

Traffic was slower in the area as drivers were directed around the crash.  The crash was cleared by 4 p.m. Monday.
