Colorado prosecutors seek return of kidnap suspect

Longmont police said a man attacked the child's mother before taking the child and fleeing.

LONGMONT, Colo. -

Colorado prosecutors are working with Canadian officials to take custody of a 51-year-old man accused of attacking his estranged wife with pepper spray and a stun gun and kidnapping their young son.
    
Monty Turner was arrested Sunday in Brandon, Manitoba, with 3-year-old Luke.

Authorities say the boy was unharmed, and they were working to reunite him with his mother Monday.
    
Police say Monty Turner forced his way into the Longmont, Colo., home of his wife, Brandy Turner, on Saturday and fled with Luke. Monty Turner was found with the boy in a motel in Manitoba.
