Eric was born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles. His parents still live in the house he grew up in.
Eric comes KRDO having spent three years with the ABC and FOX affiliate in Boise, the Gem State's capital city. As a general assignment reporter in Boise every day was different and in its own way exciting. Eric's beats included politics, education and investigative work. He thoroughly enjoys covering the occasional human interest feature as well.
In 2013, Eric became the weekend anchor at Today's 6 and FOX 9. He's also no stranger to covering wildfires. Last summer, he spent a week on the fire lines up in Sun Valley area covering the Beaver Creek Wildfire.
His first professional television news job took him 2,700 miles from home in Charlottesville, Virginia (Thomas Jefferson country). Eric graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State in May 2009.
Eric is excited to be relocating to the Rockies. He looks forward to exploring much of this beautiful state. He looks forward to watching his San Francisco Giants take on the Rockies at Coors Field.
Eric's a big sports fan and loves to play golf. He tells us he's thankful his tee shots will travel a little farther in this altitude. Eric also watches a fair amount of Primetime TV. He's always amazed at how fast his DVR fills up. He is extremely proud of the fact that thanks to his older brother, Kevin, he watched every Breaking Bad episode right from the beginning of the series run.
Eric always wants to hear from viewers. If you have any comments, concerns, questions or story ideas feel free to contact him at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
