A teenager was robbed at knifepoint while in the parking lot of Grace Lutheran Church Sunday.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

5 people have been arrested in connection to a robbery outside of a Colorado Springs church.

We're told 1 adult and 4 juveniles were taken into custody Sunday evening.

The crime happened Sunday afternoon outside of the Grace Be Unto You Outreach Church, which is located at 3195 Airport Road.

The church pastor tells KRDO NewsChannel 13 that the 16 year old victim was walking to the parking lot to wait for his dad when 5 people approached him.

One of the suspects pulled out a gun, shoved it in the boys gut, and demanded he hand over all of his belongings.

The teen handed over his wallet and cell phone before the suspects ran off. He was not injured.

Police say the stolen property has been recovered.
