Two brothers accused of robbing 10 banks in El Paso County were advised of their charges Friday. Their father, the alleged getaway driver, will be advised on Monday.

Two brothers accused in 10 bank robberies in El Paso County and Colorado Springs this summer were advised of the charges against them on Friday.

23-year-old Braden Butson and his brother 20-year-old Nicholas Butson face charges of conspiracy to commit robbery, attempted robbery and robbery.  Their father, Brock Butson, accused of being the getaway driver, will be advised on Monday.

Officers arrested the trio at the Travel Star Inn on South Nevada Avenue on Thursday.  A tip led officers to the motel.

"We were told what kind of car they should be in," said Sgt. Dale Fox with the Colorado Springs Police Department's robbery unit.  Based on that information, detectives were able to find the car and suspects.

According to police, the men robbed Academy Bank at 2835 Briargate Blvd. four times and tried to rob it a fifth time.  Police say they also robbed American National Bank at 3755 Briargate Blvd., U.S. Bank at 1125 W. Garden of the Gods Road and First Bank at 817 Village Center Drive.  The men are implicated in two other bank robberies in El Paso County as well.

Each man is being held on $250,000 bond.  The brothers' next court appearance will be on Sept. 16.
