Colorado lawmakers escape photo radar tickets
A loophole in state law is allowing 100 Colorado state senators and representatives to avoid an unknown number of photo radar tickets in Denver.
Unlike most license plates that are issued to specific vehicles used to track down violators, license plates for lawmakers are issued to individuals and they aren't registered in state computers.
An investigation by KCNC-TV has convinced Denver police to consider alternatives because they say the process isn't fair.
