Groomer's hope after Black Forest Fire

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo -

One Black Forest business owner is not dwelling on the past to what happened to her now destroyed business.  Teresa Rooney is looking ahead to what's next for her business called, Pet Grooming in the Forest.

Teresa had space for 12 years at the Black Forest Veterinary Clinic for her grooming shop.  Since the fire she's had to temporarily relocate her business to her near Black Forest home.  Customers have been more than generous to her because all her equipment was burned up in the fire, "A lot of these dog crates that you see here have been donated by customers.  Just the generosity that they have shown and their caring thoughts, willing to help and to do anything they can to help me, to keep my business going."  Teresa is more than appreciative of those who have helped her and her four person staff stay afloat.

Teresa told me, "I would like to stay in the Black Forest and serve the community.  People have supported me through the years and I just want to stay."  Teresa want to move Pet Grooming in the Forest to another location in the Black Forest and reopen at the end of July.  She told me that the old phone line number of the original shop is now forwarded to her so that clients can call her on 719-495-0208.
