Homes evacuated after natural gas line hit

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

The Colorado Springs Fire Department says eight homes were evacuated after a natural gas line was hit Thursday morning (9/5/13).

The incident happened at the intersection of Oak Meadow Drive and Pinedale Drive on the far north end of the city.

The gas line has now been repaired, and all evacuations were lifted early Thursday afternoon.
