The El Paso County Clerk and Recorders office is expanding hours at three of its voting centers for Senate Dist. 11 recall voters.

The Clerk and Recorder's office says its three busiest voter service and polling centers will open at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, September 6 and Monday, September 9.

Locations with expanded hours:
Citizens Service Center
1675 W. Garden of the Gods Rd.
Southeast Branch
5650 Industrial Pl.
Downtown Centennial Hall
200 S. Cascade Ave.

"We have closely watched the number of voters and are impressed with the enthusiasm of the electorate," said Clerk and Recorder Wayne Williams.  "Our largest number of voters arrived in the morning and many were in line before we opened. To better serve our citizens, we will be open earlier on both Friday and Monday."

All four of the Clerk and Recorder's offices are operating as Voter Service and Polling Centers. Click here for more information, including a complete list of polling locations.

On the last election day, Tuesday, September 10, all voting centers will be open from 7 a.m. until the polls close at 7 p.m.
