Position: Human Resource Coordinator
NewsChannel 13, in beautiful Colorado Springs, Colorado, located on the Front Range of the Colorado Rockies, is looking for an HR Coordinator to be the primary contact for Human Resource needs and serve as liaison between corporate HR and employees at KRDO.
HR Coordinator duties include but are not limited to: station payroll; interpreting company policies for employees and managers; benefits administration; aiding employees with benefits issues; developing and implementing documents to communicate HR information and changes; ensuring that appropriate reward and recognition programs are in place; tracking attendance and communicating Paid Time Off (PTO) policy; creating and maintaining accurate job descriptions; coordinating safety efforts in the station and maintaining documentation for workplace injuries; performing new hire orientations and exit interviews; and maintaining and tracking pay data on employees.
Degree in Human Resources, Management or Business Administration, extensive Human Resources experience, or a combination of training and experience. Supervisory and accounting experience is preferred. Working knowledge of computers, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office, solid written and verbal communications skills, detail-oriented and organization skills are required. Some travel is required.
