It's a tangled web of prostitution, money laundering and sex trafficking and investigators say it all leads back to one woman.
KRDO NewsChannel 13 obtained the arrest affidavits for Covie King, Myong Moon and Myong Bogdany. The women were arrested in March after a months-long human trafficking investigation by Colorado State Patrol, Homeland Security Investigations, the Colorado Springs Police Department's Vice/Narcotics/Intelligence Division and the Pueblo Police Department. Investigators say the women ran human trafficking operations out of various massage parlors and spas in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.
In each arrest document, investigators describe how the arrest of 54-year-old Sona Blair led them to the three women. Blair was arrested in December after a seven month investigation. Detailed in the document, an informant told investigators that Blair would pick up women from nearby airports and take them to spas to be prostitutes.
The owners of the spa would pay Blair $200 per prostitute, according to the informant.
Police, through surveillance and GPS tracking, were able to determine that Blair was transporting women to spas owned by King, Moon and Bogdany.
Some of the spas associated with the women are Healing Art Relaxation Spa in the 3300 block of West Colorado Avenue, Moon Therapy and Massage in the 700 block of Garden of the Gods Road, Yuki's Spa in the 3500 block of West Colorado Avenue, and VIP Asian Spa in the 1100 block of South Prairie Avenue in Pueblo.
