The Mountain Post said the investigation into the soldier who posted a picture of herself skipping a flag salute is complete.

FORT CARSON, Colo. -

The investigation into the Fort Carson soldier who took a picture of herself skipping a flag salute is complete.

Fort Carson said the unit commander addressed the situation involving Pfc. Tariqka Sheffey.

However, it is not U.S. Army policy to disclose the results of administrative actions, Fort Carson said.

A decision Congressman Doug Lamborn says he supports.

"I trust the chain of command to give the appropriate discipline and hopefully it won't happen again," Lamborn said.

Last month, Pfc. Sheffey posted a picture of herself in her car with the caption, "This is me laying back in my car hiding so I don’t have to salute the 1700 flag, KEEP ALL YOUR ‘THATS SO DISRESPECTFUL/HOWRUDE/ETC.’ COMMENTS TO YOURSELF cuz, right now, IDGAFFFF."

Sheffey later posted a video where she expressed regret about posting the picture, but stopped short of apologizing, according to the Army Times.
