PUEBLO, Colo. -

Pueblo Police say an Arizona woman whose backpack was found behind a convenience store on N. Elizabeth Street has contacted her family and is safe.

Terry Lunday, 53, was driving home to Arizona after visiting family in Pagosa Springs.

Lunday left Pagosa Springs on May 27, 2014.

A missing persons report was filed with Pagosa Springs Police on June 3, 2014.

Lunday's backpack was found in a field west of the Love's in the 6400 block of N. Elizabeth Street on June 4, 2014.

Police say seeing social media posts about her disappearance helped in part to motivate Lunday to contact her family.
