10 Months After A Colorado Tragedy Movie Goers Say They Are Moving Forward.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

It's been 10 months since the Aurora theater shootings at the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises. Now, Iron Man 3 is hitting big screens and people in Southern Colorado are packing cinemas. People in theaters all around Colorado Springs said they felt safe.

The wait was long in some places and not too long in others but people say they are ready to see Iron Man 3.

“Good special effects, good acting, and you can't beat Gwyneth Paltrow,” said Bill Roettger who watched the movie Friday afternoon.

There are some bad memories attached because of what happened in Aurora in July. Movie goers in Colorado Springs said they remember, but are trying to move forward and not let one evil act ruin an American pastime.

“I mean you have to go one, you can't just be locked up in your house 24/7,” said Elizabeth Albidrez who was about to watch the movie with her two adult sons.
