CANON CITY, Colo. -

A man is speaking out, four months after his ex-wife and her kids were murdered in their CaƱon City home.

Mandy Folsom, 35, and two of her kids, 9-year-old Marissa and 5-year-old Mason, were found dead in their home in March. Jaacob Vanwinkle, 31, pleaded guilty to the triple homicide last month.

"I just want to see this guy die, and I know it sounds horrible, but I do. I want to see him die," Michael Folsom said.

Michael and Mandy Folsom were married for almost four years. He adopted her youngest son Mason.

"We had a good marriage," he said. "We were in love. I loved my wife and she had loved me."

Folsom said they got divorced in February, but that they still loved each other and planned to remarry.

At the time of the triple homicide, Folsom was in jail for a probation violation.

"I carry a lot of the guilt for being in jail when it happened," he said. "If I was there, it would've been different, I'm assuming. I carry that with me."

Folsom was recently listed among the Fremont County's Sheriff's Office most wanted for warrants. He turned himself in and said he is working on paying the money he owes for the warrants.
