A Colorado Springs man was arrested after police say he attacked a pharmacist Tuesday night.

It happened at the Albertson's at 7055 Austin Bluffs Parkway.

Police say Nicholas Jones was at the store with his mother and got upset with the pharmacist.  He began cursing at her and calling her names before leaving the store.

Police say Jones came back, jumped over the counter and began assaulting the pharmacist.

Two customers jumped over the counter and stopped the attack.  They held Jones down until police arrived.

The pharmacist was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.  Police say Jones pulled out a large amount of her hair.

Jones was served a summons for Third Degree Assault and released.
