Search continues for 'armed and dangerous' burglary suspects

The search for two burglary suspects continues after deputies came up empty handed while searching for them at an El Paso County mobile home park.
Nathaniel Flavio Gonzales and Gino Patrick Rael are both 20 years old. Felony arrest warrants have been issued for both men.
The Elm Crest Mobile Home Park near Highway 85/87 and Las Vegas Street was evacuated on the afternoon of Thursday, January 2, 2014, while deputies, the SWAT team and the bomb squad searched for the men. Those evacuations have since been lifted.
A spokesman for the El Paso County Sheriff's Office said both Gonzales and Rael live at the home.
Lt. Jeff Kramer said the two men are prime suspects in burglaries from the Rockrimmon area of Colorado Springs to Security.
Detectives were working off information that the two may have had hand grenades inside the mobile home.
A second search was happening at a home in the downtown area, but the suspects weren't located at that address either.
Police have linked the pair to a string of daytime burglaries all across the city. They say the burglars ring the door bell and knock on the front door to check if anyone is home. If there is no answer, they go around to the back of the house and break in.
Police say Rael and Gonzales should be considered armed and dangerous because weapons have been stolen during some of the burglaries. They say the pair likely has other accomplices and additional suspects are likely to be named at some point.
Witnesses have seen Rael driving a late 80s or early 90s white Subaru station wagon, according to investigators.
Anyone with information is asked to call Colorado Springs Police at 719-444-7000 or Pikes Peak Area Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867).
