Cause of death released in Springs man's killing

Bionca Rogers, 21, turned herself in Wednesday morning. Police say is a person of interest in the disappearance of Grant Frazier who was found dead earlier this week.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

Police say a Colorado Springs man whose body was found in Iowa after he was reported missing died from blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds. His death has been ruled a homicide.

Grant Michael Frazier vanished on February 16, 2014. Police announced that his remains were found in Newton, Iowa on February 25, 2014.

Frazier's car, which was also missing, has been recovered in Iowa.

Frazier was last known to be with Bionca Rogers, 21. Police say Rogers turned herself in to police in Cedar Rapids, IA in the early morning hours of February 26, 2014 after a warrant was issued for her arrest.

Rogers is facing charges for first degree murder. Police say they are still investigating whether Rogers acted alone.

According to a background check, Rogers is also facing charges tied to carrying a concealed weapon and child abuse.
