Jury: Woman guilty of murder in death of Springs man whose body was found in Iowa

Bionca Rogers, 21, turned herself in Wednesday morning. Police say is a person of interest in the disappearance of Grant Frazier who was found dead earlier this week.


A woman will spend the rest of her life in prison after being convicted of first degree murder Tuesday.

A jury found Bionca Rogers guilty on all counts in the 2014 death of Grant Michael Frazier. She was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Frazier was reported missing on February 16, 2014. Police announced that his remains were found in Newton, Iowa on February 25, 2014. His car was also found in Iowa.

Police said Frazier died from blunt force trauma and multiple stab wounds. 

Before his disappearance, Frazier was last known to be with Rogers. She turned herself in to police in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in the early morning hours of February 26, 2014 after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
