It happened at the Target located at 3300 Dillon Drive at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013.

Police say the guard noticed the pair putting items into a gray bag. He tried to stop them at the exit and was pepper sprayed.

The woman is believed to be around 20-years-old. She was wearing black clothing and gray boots.

Police say the pair got away in a dark blue or black Dodge SUV, possibly a Nitro. Police say the vehicle was stolen out of Colorado Springs, but they did not provide a license plate number.
