PUEBLO, Colo. -

Pueblo Police say an 11-year-old girl who was reported missing Thursday morning has been found thanks to social media.

Police were called to a home on Pueblo's south side to investigate a report of a missing child at 7 a.m.

Leela Rae Martinez had last been seen at around 10 p.m. the night before when her family went to bed. When they woke up, Martinez was gone.

Investigators say Martinez left a note and no signs of foul play were found.

Police released Martinez's photo to the media Thursday morning. The photo and information were quickly posted to Facebook, including the KRDO NewsChannel 13 Facebook page.

Police say someone saw the photo on Facebook and spotted Martinez. That person took Martinez to the south side Boys and Girls Club and called police.

Pueblo Police tweeted that Martinez had been found, was safe and talking with detectives just before 2:30 p.m.
