A Pueblo mugging at grocery store earlier won't stop shoppers. Joe Dominguez reports.

PUEBLO, Colo. -

The daughter of a 90-year-old mugged earlier this week in Pueblo said she's bruised but in good spirits.

It happened at the Walmart on Pueblo's south side, off Pueblo Boulevard.

Police have yet to confirm the attack but an undercover security officer told KRDO Newschannel 13 that the attack happened earlier this week.

The victim's daughter said the thief took cash, credit cards and gift cards.

Other shoppers said they're as prepared as they can be.

"That's why I come shopping early before it gets dark," said Salazar.

The victim's daughter said going to the store early did not help her mother. She said the attack occurred around 2 p.m. She said other victims with similar stories have reached out to her through social media since the mugging.
