School, business delays for Monday

Several businesses and schools have already announced changes to their normal schedule Monday due to the winter weather.

Those delays include:

School Districts

  • La Veta Sch. Dist. RE-2 - Closed
  • Ellicott 22 - 2 Hours Late, No AM preschool
  • Cripple Creek-Victor - 2 Hours Late
  • Falcon District 49 - 2 Hours Late, No AM kindergarten or preschool
  • Primero RE-2 School District - 2 Hours Late, Buses on snow routes
  • Custer County School District - Closed
  • Cripple Creek - Victor - 2 hours late

Private & Charter Schools

  • Evangelical Christian Acad. - 2 Hour Delay, No PK, No A.M. Shuttle
  • Colorado Springs Christian Schools - Delayed Start
  • Banning Lewis Ranch Acad. - 2 Hours Late
  • Holy Trinity Academy (Trinidad) - Closed

Colleges & Universities

  • Pikes Peak Community College - Falcon Campus ONLY has a 10 a.m. start time.

Military Bases

  • Cheyenne Mtn Air Force Station - CMAFS delayed reporting for non-mission essential personnel no earlier than 0930 on Monday, 25 Nov UPDATE
  • Peterson Air Force Base - Peterson AFB delayed reporting, no earlier than 9:30 a.m. for non-mission critical personnel.
  • Schriever Air Force Base - 2 hrs late for non-mission-essential staff
  • Fort Carson - Reporting Status RED until 9:30 a.m. Phased arrival is in effect for all non-mission essential personnel


  • YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region - YMCA Child Care at Banning Lewis Ranch and STAR Academy 2-hour delay. UPDATE
  • RMSER Head Start Trinidad - 2 Hours Late, No AM preschool
  • RMSER Head Start Walsenburg - 2 hour delay
