Sex offender accused of watching girls, 'waiting for the right one'

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office says a registered sex offender was arrested after a deputy spotted him watching kids walking home from school.
Barry Burrous, 38, of Florence, was arrested on Friday, February 7, 2014.
The sheriff's office says a former Fremont County sheriff's detention deputy recognized Burrous as he was driving around McKinley Elementary School at around the time that school lets out. The deputy said that Burrous was driving very slow and appeared to be watching kids walking home from school.
The sheriff's office says Burrous' probation officer was contacted and a probation violation warrant was issued for his arrest.
During the course of the investigation, the Fremont County Sheriff's Office says it received information that Burrous was specifically watching young girls at the school and was quote "waiting for the right one."
Burrous was arrested at his home in Florence around 5:30 p.m. Friday. He is being held at the Fremont County Detention Center on $50,000 bond.
