PUEBLO, Colo. -

An overnight standoff in Pueblo led to a mobile home fire early Friday morning.

The incident started around 12:30 a.m.

Police responded to a dispute, involving guns, between neighbors at a mobile home on E. 8th St. A man in the home refused to exit, barricading himself inside, and a SWAT team was then called out.

The SWAT team tried to get the suspect to surrender, but was unable to.

A warrant was then issued to enter the home and to arrest the suspect, Timothy Espinoza, 45. SWAT deployed a flash-bang into the mobile home around 6 a.m. as a distraction, causing it to catch fire.

Espinoza was taken into custody.

Three dogs were inside the mobile home at the time of the fire. One dog was killed, and firefighters were able to rescue the other two. CPR was performed on one of the dogs that was saved. The dogs were taken to an emergency veterinarian for further treatment.

Espinoza was booked into county jail with a $50,000 bond.
