3 Hurt 2 Arrested More Suspects Sought in Pueblo Assaults

One victim slashed in face during robbery, another victim found unconscious in store parking lot.

PUEBLO, Colo. -

Pueblo police continue to search for a man that severely beat another man a week and a half ago outside of a grocery store.

On Wednesday police identified that victim as Michael Flavin, 46. Police said he is a Pueblo resident.

Flavin was found injured the morning of Jan. 20 outside of the Safeway on 29th Street near Elizabeth Street. Flavin was rushed to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition. Police said he remains in critical condition.

"Usually that happens when someone hits their head against the wall or the concrete but not in this case," said Sgt. Eric Gonzales, of the Pueblo Police Department.

Police said a blue or gray car seen at the scene may have a connection to the assault.

If you saw the fight or the car leaving the parking lot headed north on Elizabeth Street give Pueblo police a call at (719) 553-2502. You can also remain anonymous and potentially earn a cash reward for the information you provide by calling Pueblo Crime Stoppers at (719) 542-STOP(7867).
